The rate you are told is the rate
You get the number on the phone, before anyone is dispatched, and it is what you are charged when the technician arrives. One rate across all four trades — plumbing, heating, cooling and gas.
What it pays for
A licensed, insured technician carrying the certifications the work needs, and the time to find what has actually failed — not a quick look and a guess.
Watch for the bait and switch
A call-out advertised at almost nothing gets recovered once someone is standing in your basement. Get the number before anyone travels — from us, or from anyone else you call — and hold them to it when they arrive.
Financing on larger jobs
A boiler that fails in January is not a purchase anyone planned. Financing is available on the big-ticket work, so a system replacement does not have to come out of savings in one go.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if my house needs repiping?
The usual signs are falling water pressure with no other explanation, rusty or discolored water — especially first thing in the morning or after the house has sat empty — and repeated pinhole leaks. In post-war Long Island houses with original galvanized steel supply lines, all three tend to arrive together as the pipe corrodes closed from the inside.
How long does a repipe take?
It depends on the size of the house, how accessible the runs are and how much finished surface has to be opened. We will walk it with you and give a realistic schedule before starting rather than a number designed to win the job.
Do plumbing installations need a permit?
A lot of it does — new lines, repipes, water heater replacements and anything involving gas. We pull the permits and see the inspections through as part of the job. A contractor offering to skip that is offering you a problem at resale.
Can you just replace one fixture?
Yes. Plenty of our work is a single toilet, faucet or shower valve. It gets the same licensed plumber, and we will put a proper shut-off on it so the next repair is not a whole-house event.
What is the difference between using a plumber and a handyman?
On the day, often nothing visible. The difference shows up later — in whether the work was permitted, whether the materials are right for the application, whether the grade on a waste line is correct, and whether your insurer will cover the damage if it fails. A licensed Master Plumber is also who a home inspection will expect to see on the paperwork.
Do you charge a service call fee for installation quotes?
No. Estimates for installation and replacement work are free and come with no obligation. A service call fee applies only to diagnostic visits, where something has failed and nobody knows why yet — and we tell you which kind of visit you need on the phone.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. This is the kind of job most people are not expecting to pay for all at once, particularly when the old one has just failed.
