631-587-0085WE ANSWER EVERY CALLCommercial plumbing is judged on a different measure from residential work. A blocked drain in a house is an inconvenience; the same blockage in a restaurant kitchen at six on a Friday closes you. What a business actually needs from a plumber is not a lower price — it is somebody who answers, understands what downtime costs, and can schedule the predictable work around trading hours.
NJM handles commercial plumbing for offices, restaurants, retail and multi-family properties across Nassau and Suffolk County. Licensed and insured with a Master Plumber on staff and TASK 86/87 certification for gas, which matters in commercial kitchens where appliance loads and code requirements are both higher than in a home.

Answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year. For a business, an overnight failure is a morning that does not open — that is the call we are set up for.

Grease-loaded lines, high-demand hot water and gas appliance work, by TASK 86/87 certified staff.

Scheduled clearing for lines that carry heavy use, which costs far less than the emergency it prevents.

Higher-demand systems sized to actual usage, including tankless and multi-unit arrangements.

Commercial fixtures, flush valves and restroom installations built for the traffic they actually get.

Commercial gas piping, appliance connections, pressure testing and inspection documentation.
Apartment buildings and multi-unit properties, where a single failure affects several tenants at once.
Planned work fitted to your operating hours wherever the job allows.
We don’t charge to quote a job. We do charge to find a problem nobody has identified yet. Which one you need — and what it costs — gets agreed on the phone, so nothing about the cost is a surprise on the doorstep.
You get the number on the phone, before anyone is dispatched, and it is what you are charged when the technician arrives. One rate across all four trades — plumbing, heating, cooling and gas.
A licensed, insured technician carrying the certifications the work needs, and the time to find what has actually failed — not a quick look and a guess.
A call-out advertised at almost nothing gets recovered once someone is standing in your basement. Get the number before anyone travels — from us, or from anyone else you call — and hold them to it when they arrive.
A boiler that fails in January is not a purchase anyone planned. Financing is available on the big-ticket work, so a system replacement does not have to come out of savings in one go.
Boiler, furnace and water heater replacement, a full air conditioning system, a whole-house repipe, sewer and water main work, and larger contracting jobs — kitchens, bathrooms, dormers and extensions.
At the estimate, before anything is scheduled. It is worth asking even if you think you will not need it, because knowing it is there changes what you are willing to consider fixing properly.
The price of the job. The quote is the quote whether you finance it or not — and on a straightforward repair it is usually not worth the paperwork. We will tell you which one you are looking at.
Commercial plumbing is not residential plumbing at a larger scale. The difference is what a failure costs per hour, and how little appetite anyone has for closing to fix it.
Kitchen drains slowing, then backing up into the lowest fixture, usually at the worst possible hour. Grease lines need clearing on a schedule rather than on failure — the emergency version costs a service and a closure, the scheduled version costs an early morning.
Backflow assemblies are tested annually and a failure has a deadline attached. It is a straightforward repair or rebuild once someone gets to it, and an escalating problem while nobody does.
Plenty of hot water at ten in the morning and none at all during service. That is usually capacity or recovery rate rather than a fault — the system was sized for a different business than the one you are now running.
Something is leaking and turning the water off means closing. Knowing where the isolation points are, and being able to work around occupied hours, is most of the job.
Domestic fixtures in a public restroom fail constantly. Commercial-grade valves, carriers and flushometers exist because the usage is genuinely different, and replacing like for like just restarts the clock.
Somebody has scheduled a code inspection and nobody is certain what will be found. Worth walking before rather than after — we hold Master Plumber certification and TASK 86/87 for the gas side, so it is one visit rather than two trades.
One licensed team, one number to call, across Nassau and Suffolk County.
What it says on the coupon is what comes off the bill. Mention it when you call.
Shutoffs that will not shut off, a water heater past its years, a supply line nobody has looked at. Preset or custom plans, for homes and for commercial properties.

Planned work is far easier to schedule around trading than emergency work, which is one of the arguments for preventive maintenance on lines and equipment you depend on. Tell us your hours when you call and we will work to them.
Yes, and they are their own discipline. Grease loads narrow drain lines steadily until something small finishes the job, hot water demand is far higher than residential, and gas appliance work carries stricter code requirements. We are TASK 86/87 certified, which is what commercial gas work legally requires.
We answer 24 hours a day, every day of the year, from North Babylon. Call 631-587-0085. For a business, the honest advice is to call at the first sign rather than waiting to see whether it clears — the difference between a slow drain on Thursday and a closed kitchen on Friday is usually a day.
Yes, and for high-use drain lines and commercial water heating it is worth it. Preventive clearing and servicing is scheduled at your convenience; the emergency it avoids is not. Call 631-587-0085 and we will work out what your setup actually needs.
Yes. Multi-unit properties concentrate risk — one failed stack or water heater affects several tenants at once — so response time and doing the repair properly the first time matter more, not less.
No, it is one rate — the same for commercial and residential, and the same across all four trades. You get the figure on the phone before anyone is dispatched. Emergency, after-hours, weekend and holiday calls are quoted the same way.
Yes — fully licensed and insured, with Master Plumber certification and TASK 86/87 gas certification on staff. We can provide documentation for your records or your landlord.

I highly recommend Neil from NJM. He is fast, courteous, reliable and professional. I hired him many times when I had issues at my home and also my office. Jobs as little as replacing a toilet, to rusted leaking pipes to installing a brand new central air conditioning system and new heating and ductwork.

Neil did work at my home and at my wife's business. In both cases, he had to replace a furnace. He did an excellent job in both cases. He was highly recommended to me and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Way to go Neil!

Called Neil on the spur of the moment on a Saturday afternoon because my bathroom sink backed up and when I plunged it nothing but black water came up. I really opened up Pandora's box. Neil was able to come same day and fix the problem. Glad I had his number handy.
