I am usually not a writer of reviews but I feel I must acknowledge NJM Mechanical. After Superstorm Sandy I hired NJM Mechanical to replace my home heating and air conditioning system that I lost in the flooding. Not only was Neil's work professional and competent but he redesigned the system which made it much more efficient. I used him again several years later to replace an old boiler in a rental property that I own and he again was able to redesign that system to make it more efficient and bring the heating system up to the current building code. Last week I had an issue with my home heating system. Neil came the day that I called and was able to diagnose the problem and get the part that I needed ( circuit board) ordered. Being it was on a weekend the board arrived a few days later and Neil immediately installed it to get me up and running again. I would highly recommend NJM Mechanical. They do things the right way. He's also a very nice guy.

Neil and his team replaced our hot water tank within 1 day of calling them. They were at my house until midnight working and made it a priority to get the job done. He is professional and communicates seamlessly. When I called, he asked if it was an emergency or could it wait until the next week, when I said I have a baby he said "well then it's an emergency" and he was at my house the next day. He also previously fixed a leak in our bathroom and fixed some pipes to make them up to code. He is professional and doesn't cut corners. Highly recommend Neil and his team!

A year ago, I started to have Neil to do a small job to fix my leaking under the Kitchen's sink and throughout the year he turned into finish a few big projects for me. He is a reliable person. He knows a lot and has great ideas come to home improvement, high quality work, clean and tidy, great knowledge, and beautiful design. He explained every jobs and one thing I like was, He raised his concerns, so I was aware of the issues and mind as well to get it right and get it fixed.
From leaking under the Kitchen's sink, changing the faucet in the bathroom, fixing the ceiling leakage in my dining room, diagnosed my home water drainage and sewage problem, remodeling my living room by putting in a hardwood floor, replacing a beautiful and new modern stairway for me, putting molding around all windows, replacing new doors, and painting it all. My home turn into a very beautiful and modern one which every one of my guests highly compliments and love it all and most importantly, I love it so much.
All is the great work from Neil and his team.
One last major project, Neil had replaced my 40 years old broken heating furnace and AC system with a new advanced HAVC system including heat pumps, air handler and new furnace with two zones in two levels. During the process, Neil understood my needs and recommend me the best systems work with me. Amazing work and again love it very much !!!

We had an ongoing issue with clogs. My daughter woke up to flooding in her bedroom from her toilet, which was not fun! This was our first time having NJM in our home. Neil was knowledgeable and gave us several options. we chose to have him use the camera to get to the root of the problem. He was able to pinpoint several issues and was able to fix clog and clean out the pipes. Neil and his crew were very professional, kind and down to earth. Neil, the owner, was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain all the differences between the materials and systems available. He helped me decide which manufacturer would be the best fit for my home and budget, which gave me a lot of confidence in the decision-making process.
The quality of the work was excellent, the price was very fair, and what really stood out was how quickly the job was completed. Neil made sure he was personally on-site for the installation to oversee and ensure everything was done properly. It's rare to find that level of dedication and attention to detail these days.

My navien tankless water heater is only a year old and still under warranty. We ended up getting a few quotes but my friend referred me to NJM Mechanical & Contracting. Neil came over that evening to discuss options. He was incredible. Unlike some of the other companies we got quotes from, not once did I feel like he was pushing a service on us or was lying to us. He was very honest on what was happening. NJM was the recommended plumber to install our new undermount sink and faucet. We had new counter and backsplash done and the sink was a different size. Neil (the N in NJM) was the best! After inheriting a house we were finally ready to sell. We listed the property and had an offer that we we accepted. However, there were several construction issues that needed to be addressed IMMEDIATELY or we risked losing the opportunity.

Njm mechanical contracting was hired to handle an insurance job at my house from damages to interior and exterior due to raccoon damage . They replaced my roof and inside walls and ceilings and insulation that was ruined by these pesty animals.
